NJ EagleTrax is a partnership of the Conserve Wildlife Foundation of New Jersey and the Endangered & Nongame Species Program of NJ Fish and Wildlife. State and Foundation biologists work together to monitor New Jersey's bald eagle population and protect habitat that will sustain us all into the future. Using satellite transmitters, a few select eagles are helping us identify habitats that eagles need to meet their needs for food, rest and shelter.
People can support this work and help to purchase transmitters by donating to Conserve Wildlife Foundation, by donating to the NJ Endangered & Nongame Species Program, by purchasing a Conserve Wildlife license plate, and by "Checking Off For Wildlife" on the NJ state income tax form (line 59).
